Our door keys wouldn't work, so the solution we were presented with was that the repairman made the door completely unlatchable and unlockable! It opened by simply pushing it open! We were told, just flip the locker thingy at the top of the door, no one will get in, and we will be watching on the cameras. No, it was not an acceptable solution. The beds were okay, the place was clean, but it is just crazy to not have a door that locks and latches. We will not stay there again.

Our recent stay was extremely disappointing and not reflective of our prior experiences at this hotel. We arrived close to 2:00 a.m. with our family and were met by a front desk employee who was rude and inefficient. I provided my U.S. Passport card, which is valid legal identification, yet the employee argued with me because it did not list my address, even though my reservation profile already contains that information. She then required I search through my luggage/wallet to provide additional proof of address, which felt unnecessary and unreasonable. The employee also insisted that I provide a license plate number for our vehicle. As the car was a rental, and given that there were very few vehicles in the parking lot, this was unusual and not something we have ever been required to provide during previous stays. The condition of the room was unacceptable, to say the least. We did not address and just tidied up as much as we could, as it was already so very late, but there were used napkins with blood and mucus under the edge of the couch, blood on the wall behind the bed, and a filthy bathroom. These cleanliness issues are concerning and should never occur in a guest room. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times when arriving late (& recommend to others!) and have always had positive experiences, which makes this stay particularly disappointing. We hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

The breakfast was a nice added benefit but not necessary. They did have coffee all day long which was great. The airport shuttle was prompt and on time and is only a couple minutes away from the airport. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We ended up leaving a phone app the hotel room and they ended up bringing it back to us to the front counter. They drove their own personal vehicle.

The hotel does not rent to Local Anchorage residents. This need to be disclosed up front on orbitz..IT is not listed anywhere. My family got done with a busy night and arrived at 10pm to find out they would not rent to us. We had to get the room refunded, which Orbitz did do, and then had to find another room. It was a long night going into another busy day.

We have stayed here several time and enjoy the location, rooms, breakfast. First time we have actually been able to use the pool and unfortunately it shut down after only getting to swim once. Sure wish they had a hot tub there too, but alas

No help when I forgot my glasses and makeup bag. Claim they can't find my reservation and then they said its not the correct name. What room number? I didn't find anything. All while being on hold several times and no answers just more questions. I also went in person the following day to a young girl that "looked" and then came back with a form asking what I am missing and contact info with my room number. Etc. Glasses and makeup are not cheap. It shouldn't take this long to find anything, especially glasses that are not much use for anyone else.
