Second time at the Wyndham for a Disney vaca. It’s only a 10 min walk from the parks which is very nice. Staff was awesome and very friendly. The rooms could use a few updates. Our room was pretty muggy for our stay but not a huge deal. It can get pretty noisy since you’re right on Katella and you can hear other guests above you. Overall pretty good. Would stay again!

When we arrived at the hotel, we stood at the front desk for five minutes before anyone helped us. Once we got checked in and went to our room, the air conditioner was so loud we had to call and complain. Instead of fixing it, they just moved us to a different room. The second room was dirty—there were stains on the floor and in the hallway, the room hadn’t been properly cleaned, and the safe was broken. It only got worse. The walls were so thin we barely slept for two nights because of loud noise from the room above—kids running and constant banging. We tried calling the front desk multiple times, but no one ever answered. Overall, it was a really bad experience. One problem after another. We will never stay here again.

This hotel is a couple of blocks away from Disneyland. The room is decent with a nice bathroom. Microwave and refrigerator are included in the room, which was a major plus. The room was very cozy. Only downside was that the air conditioning unit took awhile to cool down the room after a hot day.

This hotel is clearly severely understaffed and in need of a refurb which is letting it down. Firstly, when I arrived, my room smelled absolutely awful. Dust could be seen around the room and signs of wear and tear were clear. The room was supposedly deep cleaned after they found something"dingey" causing the smell, but I have doubts. Whilst the smell had lessened, it was still there... As was the dust bunny on top of the headboard and grime around the light switches. As someone with allergies, the only way I could breathe easier in the room was by having the window open - but this still caused congestion. To make matters worse, there were silverfish (bugs) crawling around - which wouldn't be a huge deal if it weren't for the other concerns around cleanliness. I picked this hotel as the reviews said it smelled clean. However, to me the smell was of cleaning products being misused (ie, the same cloths used everywhere causing a rotten cleaning product smell) and mould. Be warned also - they "do not help with bags" so if you have any accessibility concerns like myself... good luck. The onsite cafe is not open over lunch time, and only for a short period in the afternoon/evening but it does serve Starbucks which is good. Whilst the area feels okay to walk to Disneyland and back when there are other people around, it generally doesn't feel 100% safe. The only good thing about this hotel is the lovely supervisor who was there on my 1st night/2nd day (did not catch his name).

Beautiful hotel, 15...not 10, minutes to Disneyland. I called ahead about parking and was glad I could pay $30 to park before check-in so we could go to the park. Got back around 330 pm to check in, lovely everyone and got to the 2nd floor and all I could smell was cleaner (chemicals) along the entire floor! It was beyond strong but better in the room,at first! After about an hour i contacted the front desk and there weren’t any open rooms to move to. Eyes were burning. I think the laundry is on this floor and they pverdid the bleach or spilled something this day. Howveer, I hope this isn’t the regar conditions people must sleep and work in.They attempted to tell me, oh, you can check out and check back in, um, no...unacceptable. They did call at 9am the next day to switch. 4th floor...still an odd smell in the hall but the room was just musty, not chemical, so i could handle it. We moved and it was fine but the second floor is horrid.
Under the pull out bed, which was hard to PULL OUT but also can be moved to clean under. I looked bc when I closed it the next day a wrapper came flying out.
