I do not like to give bad reviews, however customer service is important to me! This house would have been 4 stars if you don’t have to communicate with the owners regarding house issues. The house did have a smell and possibly due to not being aired out.The problems were ants in the master bathroom and a leaking water valve that I notified the owners of. I’m wondering if the house was cleaned before our arrival considering, we discovered the water leakage.This resulted in the water being turned off and back on resulting in low water pressure and cold showers!I’m a home owner and understand things happen beyond our control. It was the owners lack of empathy and disregard for the inconvenience the issue caused. He never apologized and kept saying “oh well, there’s nothing I can do!” Apologies go along way with me. I asked him how did he plan on accommodating us for the inconvenience and he became flustered and offered to return all of my funds if I left the unit. That was his only solution, again no apology. I did search for a new house/hotel to rent but everything was booked. I waited to write this review, hoping the owners would send a message to apologize for the inconvenience. Still nothing! So I would not have to write anything negative on this site. No solutions and no reasonable accommodation for our inconvenience. We understand things happen out of our control, but it’s how you handle them. Empathy and sympathy goes a long way for an issue we didn’t cause.
