We loved the balcony room overlooking the canal we stayed in. Staff were friendly and so helpful with any questions. Stairs are steep and narrow and there is no lift which was fine for us but may not be for others. We would definitely stay here again.

We were so happy with our accommodation. Sasha at the desk was very helpful. Morning coffee on the patio on the canal was a dream come true. We loved the “happy hour” Provided by the hotel- it was a great way to meet other guests. The room was historical, romantic and well maintained. The view of the canal in the back rooms is wonderful. Location is great — easy walking distance to the Rijksmuseum and tram lines. Stairs are a challenge is you’re traveling with heavy cases.

This location is great if you don’t want the loudness of the centrum/downtown area. The staff was great. The breakfast was a lovely way to start each day. We rented bikes and felt they were safe being locked up in that neighborhood. We felt our room had a great view of the canal. Bed was comfortable. We’d stay again!
