The location was perfect. Under 5 minute walk to the train station that brought you to Amsterdam Centraal as well as Shiphol Airport and if you get a regional 3 day pass even out to the surrounding suburbs like Haarlem and the seaside resort of Zandvoort. It’s a quiet area and does not have much to offer for restaurants but it’s so close to Amsterdam city.

Property was gorgeous. Very posh. But the room was set up so strangely. The bathroom just had a smoked glass door that neither closed completely nor latched, so you had zero privacy. The shower floor seemed designed to flood the whole bathroom, which we did with every shower. You couldn't turn on the shower head without getting doused with COLD water because it was placed so oddly. It seemed like they favored the aesthetics too much and the practical side of things too little.
