I was there with a friend for the weekend of the MusicOn festival which ended up being cancelled with one hours notice, devastating experience when we were looking forward to it so much, but being at such a lovely hotel made all the difference. Dinner on the first night was exceptional, the food was so good! The staff were universally lovely, the location is great – a five minute walk to the local station and then just a few stops into central Amsterdam. And I had the best Vodka Martini of my life from the talented Nunu (who really knows his stuff, and sorry if I spelt your name wrong!) highly recommend, and thank you to everyone who made our stay so good despite the disappointment of the cancellation of the festival.

Lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly. Couldn’t fault hotel, just my lack of foresight that’s was too far outside main city tourist area for what we wanted. It is definitely a quiet hotel. Just nothing round about it to eat out. Also didn’t realise the hotel’s restaurant was closed on a Sunday, so had a bit of a treck to got somewhere for evening meal.

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel V Fizeaustraat. It's a short walk from the Amstel station, there are markets around, and the neighborhood is quiet. The internet worked very well, too. The only incident is that my Roku remote control was lost in the room, probably taken by mistake when the sheets were changed. The staff was nice but we weren't able to recover it. These things happen.
