The mattress was the worst I have ever had in a hotel room. Its a simple as that. I have travelled extensively and this mattress was lumpy and sagged to the middle. There are other smaller issues but for the place you plan to sleep, a good sleep is everything.

Amazing staff, they are all very friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was that the bathroom was in bad condition, it wasn’t cleaned very well, but I have to mention that I booked the hotel at 10pm so they might not have had the time to clean it well. Enjoyed our 7 day stay at Hotel de Looier immensely...Area is highly walkable (if you like to walk) and located near most of Amsterdam's must see places...such as Museumplein, Dam Square, Central Station...all the restaurants we ate at nearby were super! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
