Cozy and comfortoble room and bed. Great location, walking distance to sites and the center, or short walk to the tram. Loved the old world charm mixed with modern touches. All the staff were incredible - friendly, super helpful. I well definitely be back!

Everything about the hotel stands out - tasteful decor, rich carpeting and furniture, a most cozy room and a great bar and breakfast dining area. Nice neighborhood too. The abundance of images of Greek gods, notably Apollo himself, throughout the hotel, makes for an inquisitive review of Greek mythology.

We had the most amazing stay. The staff could not have been more helpful. It was great being in a more residential area with a choice of cafes and restaurants, and just 15 minutes from the airport or centre. The blackout curtains and the resultant sleep was much appreciated. Also, I have never stayed in a hotel where we've had the do not disturb sign on and they've left a bag of clean towels, toilet roll, and refreshment refills for us. So thoughtful. Even the free apples were extra yummy. We will be back

I travel extensively and can not say what an exceptional experience this hotel stay was. From correspondence prior to the trip, to superb breakfast that should not be missed, all aspects are top self. Due to our sleep schedule, we passed on house keeping several days and their personable staff still brought us fresh linens and coffee each day. Each shift at the front desk was personable and offered reliable assistance. My trip was superb, not just because Amsterdam is a wonderful city, but the kindness, warmth, and friendliness made it memorable.

Apollofirst went above and beyond to make our week-long stay in Amsterdam perfect! Their friendly and attentive staff made sure we were comfortable, even before our visit. I contacted them with requests about our room and questions about the area. They responded promptly and offered excellent information. We felt at home from the time we arrived. Sumptuous breakfasts served in a "garden room" was perfect to begin our days, enough so we often skipped lunch. We were grateful to be in a more quiet neighborhood with parks nearby. The location was still walkable to museums and shops, and extremely convenient to public transportation. Nearby restaurants offered varied and delicious dinners. I can't say enough about this lovely place! Thank you, Apollofirst! We will definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was very nice. We had a broken fridge in our room and they replaced it the day we asked about it. They also fixed a squeaking door, and brought us towels and such without asking. The location is good if you want to go to the museum area, and easily walkable to trams and such nearby. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel, highly recommended.
