The room was lovely very spacious and clean, the bed was very comfy and the breakfast was delicious. We were given a parking pass and the carpark was a stonesthrow from the property. We were very close to the shops, pubs and restraunts and to lake windermere. We had a fabulous stay and will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at the Wanslea Guest House for our anniversary weekend Steve and Tina were amazing hosts helping with our every need and serving a delicious breakfast each day, our room was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed, we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

Wonderful B&B in a great location half way between the town and the lake. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed for my 2 night stay. everything was clean and fully functional and they’d obviously considered previous guests’ feedback on all the little things like plenty of hooks on doors, shower shelf etc. The breakfast is great and you can choose what you want the night before. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Wanslea House was amazing! Steve and Tina are great hosts. We felt very welcome and right at home. We loved the recommendations for things to do — everything was perfect. Breakfast was also great; be sure to try the homemade jams too! We’ll definitely be back one day.
