Leave the car behind and head off with plentiful walks and fells right on the doorstep, yet just a few moments away is the popular village of Grasmere with everything from tea shops to fine dining, and of course the famous ‘Grasmere Ginger Bread’. If you prefer to stay in, the secluded courtyard seating area is an ideal place to sit and enjoy the warmer evenings.
