I had an excellent stay at the hostel. The staff were very helpful in advance of my trip - to accommodate me arriving very late. They were always happy to help. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location could not have been better - right beside the beautiful shops and restaurants of the Old Town. I'm already looking forward to returning!

The only thing that was NOT fantastic was hotels.com description of the little hotel! It has limited check-in hours and should rather be booked directly at their own site to get updated info, code to the door etc. It does have linen(!) and is just as equipped as a hotel. They ask for €50 in deposition for a dog, not €30 etc etc

Lovely friendly Hostel. Currently being renovated and new rooms will be modern and bright. We stayed in one of the older rooms which was functional for our visit but basic as we expected. A kettle would have been a bonus but hopefully in the upgrades this will be available. We loved stunning Altea - and the view from the roof was amazing, we would definitely come back to the area. I think the Hostel will be out of our budget next time tho. The restaurant below was very friendly and food very good. Well worth a visit. Limited parking as busy but we managed to park behind the hostel in free on road parking.
