Firstly, overall we had a great time staying in the villa (1 week Oct/Nov 2018). However, we had some issues with the electricity tripping out certain circuits whenever it rained (unfortunately the circuit tripping contained the cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, lights, TV and WiFi) that meant some evenings had to be planned a bit differently (candles are cosy anyway, aren't they?). The floor heating in the Living Room/Kitchen/Dining kept bringing up faults and only worked some of the time. Both issues were reported and people came to try and fix but could not be resolved by the time our visit was finished. There was also an issue with rain-water leaking into the 'apartment'/'pool-house' (this was NOT pointed out at the time to Rachel). It was okay but notable that the bathrooms in the villa (and 'apartment'/'pool-house') were of an age and not to the same standard as other areas of the house (particularly the kitchen, which was very modern and high-spec). I would give 5* in terms of Customer Service and the response provided by Rachel (and 5* for the villa location and the views it offers) but feel that the villa itself could be greatly improved by better electrics and updated bathrooms. The last two may be 'a Spanish thing' but I have to call it as I see it.
