"My family and I stayed for several days in honor of what would have been my dads 65th birthday. We couldn't have had a better time. The cabin is so charming and close to town for everything you could need. Although it's close to the road, there is minimal noise as it is pretty rural. We loved sitting on the wrap around deck watching the birds and listening to the whippoorwill's in the evening. The cabin has everything you could need - I would love to go there in the winter for that wood stove and a fresh snowfall! Emily was an excellent host and communicator. We would recommend her cabin every time!"

"The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. We were able to drive fairly short distances to some great hiking trails. The kitchen was well stocked and were able to prepare breakfast/supper, the BBQ grill and fire pit out front were appreciated! We saw deer and turkeys. The hosts were in contact with us for any need that might come up, but we really didn't need a thing."

"The location was centralized for my visiting attractions. Better location than Echo Bluff cabins, which I was thinking about. So glad I chose Mary's place. Had a little trouble originally finding the place. But once there, it was easy to navigate in and out of property. The window heat pump unit is excellent cus I needed AC in the afternoons and heat in the mornings. You will hear some animal noises periodically during the night, but you located inside a fenced property so you are safe. The cabin has all the amenities you need, even WIFI router, which I realized a few days into the stay. Mary is a great communicator and very friendly, her dogs are super friendly, they greet you as one of the family, very gentle.i had a great trip with my dog in Emience, we saw alot of first time attractions. The landscape in Emience is very beautiful along with Mary's property. Nothing but happy times :-)"

"The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!"

"Such a quant home with plenty of room to move around. Bedrooms are nice sized and the yard space has a firepit and outdoor games . It was nice not to be on Main street and feel the comfort of small town living"
