We stayed in "The Tower" honeymoon suite for a night on our way through the area and it was good fun. The room is special, nice views, the bathroom large with great towels and we parked right at the front door of the hotel. I think Americus must be one of the last towns that size around here that doesn't charge for street parking.

The hotel was a beautiful historic building and parking was free and plentiful. Bed was comfortable and excellent shower! Was in the center of town and could although there were many shuttered storefronts, there were enough shops to walk to. Ate at the in-house pub both nights. Don’t miss the pimento fritters!
