Aci Castello and its neighbor, Aci Trezza, are two pearls on the east coast of Sicily. The volcanic activity of the area, specifically Mount Etna, has defined the conformation of the territory, making it rich in natural beauty, including the protected marine area of the Isole Ciclopi, where you can dive to admire the wonderful marine flora and fauna.

Not to be missed is a visit to the Norman Castle of Aci Castello, which stands on a basaltic cliff with an extremely rare rock composition formed by a marine eruption over 500,000 years ago.

The town is located a few kilometers from Catania, famous for its historic center recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Its architectural wonders, but also the vibrancy of its popular markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna, and the clear sea of the coast will captivate even the most discerning guests.

Catania Fontanarossa Airport can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.
