Currently, Hamilton, one of the most popular Broadway shows ever, is at the Richard Rodgers theatre. The Richard Rodgers Theatre was first opened in 1925 as Chanin's 46th Street Theatre. Since that time, the building has changed hands in several instances and for a brief period was simply called the 46th Street Theatre. When it was refurbished in 1990, it was given its current name.
