Deadmau5 is one of the more popular acts on the electronic music scene in recent years, drawing throngs of crowds wherever he plays all over the world. The DJ is actually named Joel Thomas Zimmerman but is known as Deadmau5 (pronounced “dead mouse”) because he wears a funny, mouse helmet on his head while he plays his live sets to enthusiastic crowds. This makes Deadmau5 tickets something of an exciting thing to acquire and a hot commodity wherever he has booked to play like. However, there are ways to find cheap Deadmau5 tickets if you know where to look.
Tickets to Deadmau5 usually go on sale before he launches his next tour in different parts of the world. Sometimes though, Deadmau5 tickets are sold sporadically, as he will often sign on to play various festivals around the world at the last minute, as they know he can draw a serious crowd. So if you are trying to find Deadmau5 tickets, always be on the lookout for announcements that he may have joined the line-up for a festival where top-notch electronic music is played.
It wasn’t always like this. In the late ‘90’s when Deadmau5 first began his career, Deadmau5 tickets were easy to come by because no one knew who he was. Cheap Deadmau5 tickets weren’t ever an issue when he played clubs in Canada and the Northeastern United States—however, he quickly began to rise in popularity and by 2005 was considered one of the top new young artists on the electronic music scene. That’s when his debut album “Get Scraped” was released and really caused tickets to Deadmau5 to become some of the toughest to acquire whenever he played. He began his own label called Mau5trap which pushed out other excellent electronic artists. Deadmau5 himself collaborated with the well-known San Francisco producer Kaskade, creating the song “Move for Me” which rose to number one on the Billboard charts in the Dance/Slow Mix airplay category. In 2010 he was the house DJ for the MTV Video Music Awards, paving the way for his dance music in the pop music scene thanks to Lady Gaga and David Guetta.
Today Deadmau5 is generally considered to be one of the biggest electronic acts in the world and tickets to Deadmau5 shows are always worth the money. It’s not just for the music either—the crowds are almost as entertaining as what you see and hear coming from the stage.
