Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) has a 16-mile access road that is part of State Route 267 and specifically for those on airport business. The Washington Flyer bus provides transit services to the Metrorail IAD.

Flight duration from IAD to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is just over 90 minutes. DTW is approximately 30 minutes from downtown Detroit via I-75 N. The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation has bus services to and from DTW to Southeast Michigan via Route 125 and 280. Ann Arbor Transportation Authority also provides bus services to Ann Arbor, MI.
