Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is located right off the 405, southwest of downtown Los Angeles. Light rail and bus service will also get you to LAX, as will the LAX FlyAway shuttle, which picks passengers up from Downtown, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Van Nuys or Westwood.

Flight times are usually 21 to 25 hours from LAX to Kathmandu Tribhuvan (KTM). Passengers arriving at KTM will find public transportation services to their hotels and into surrounding cities and towns. The airport is accessible via the Arniko Highway and Bhaktapur Road. Prepaid taxi services also await passengers outside of the terminal.
