Boston Logan International (BOS) is accessible from I-90 from the west, I-93 from the north and I-95 to the south. Any route first leads through downtown Boston; so expect heavy traffic. Flight duration is ten hours at its shortest, and up to 19 hours at the longest, depending on stops.
After landing at Copenhagen Airport (CPH), E20 is the only major route near the airport, and leads either to Denmark's mainland, or east to Malmo in Sweden, so expect some degree of traffic; but some smaller roads lead directly north to Copenhagen center.
Families can enjoy the National Museum of Denmark and a slew of historic attractions, including Rundetarn, Rosenborg Castle, Tivoli Gardens, the Amalienborn and Christiansborg palaces.
Warmer weather opens up many opportunities for beachfront fun in Amager Strandpark, Bellevue Beach, Koge Bugt Strandpark and Svanemolle Beach. Much of Copenhagen is made up of parks and green open spaces, which are sometimes coupled with cemeteries. Notable examples are King's Garden, Orstead Park, and the Botanical Garden.
Copenhagen has unstable climate conditions due to the oceanic weather; conditions are temperate and can be as high as 70 degrees on average in the summer, and as low as 28 degrees in the winter. The most comfortable and driest times to visit are between May and early June.
