There needs to be more attention to the condition of the room. Example, we had a night table drawer with the knobs missing. The lobby area and storage area is so small that luggage waiting to be checked was taking up lobby space. The hotel entrance is on a street that is closed off to cars, so you can't be dropped off in front with your luggage. You have to walk about 50 yards to get there.

Big room excellent location restaurants museum train station shops and river nearby. A little noisy early and late with wondows open - no AC but great fans. Great staff, friedky and helpful. Elevator does noy go to 6th floor, sttep stairs up. We booked on 5 however. Would book again.

The rooms were fine, but the bathrooms were quite small. Keep in mind the rooms do not have AC or at least the one I stayed in didn’t have it. It also has a restaurant on the ground floor connected to it and is quite loud if you are staying on the second floor.

Supremely convenient location to the main train station as well as various metro lines. Additionally, the staff were perfect hosts, so friendly and really helped us out with borrowed umbrellas for the rain. Loved the look of the room which had a mix of old-world charm and modern design -- definitely neither soulless nor outdated. Also, I love that there was a complimentary pillow menu (i.e. select a different pillow to your tastes/needs/curiosity). Can get noisy in the evening due to the street/bar activity below but wasn't actually a problem after closing the window! I'd definitely stay here again.
