do NOT order and pay for the Breakfast ! It's a disgrace ! The tomatoes were " rotten" the eggs tasted like " wood " No choice of milks . No choice of Cheese ( This is Switzerland! ) The bread was STALE .. we stayed for 3 nights . We complained after the first day . They refused to refund the money for the breakfast ! Then I wrote by email to the management - They never bothered to reply! We came with another couple , who left also a scathing review on another web site. What a shame that such a hotel can let themselves down .

Breakfast was a good option but not worth the extra cost. Should be included with stay. The key card system was not working so we didn’t have a key card throughout stay and could not access laundry do to this. The staff was accommodating and used the main key to let us into the room as needed.

The Locke Am Platz exceeded my expectations in every way. I stayed there for over a week and every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. The front desk staff were kind, accommodating, and always had great suggestions on how to utilize my days in Zurich. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it felt like my home away from home. The location cannot be beat. The train station was right across the street which allowed me to get where I needed to go easily. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in walking distance. I was a solo traveler and I felt safe walking around the area at night. I would recommend to anyone and look forward to my next stay.
