Really cool hotel about 10 minute walk from Zurich Hauptbahnhof so a convenient location for central Zurich. Really interesting art througout the hotel including in our room. The staff facilitated a late check out for us. But the highlight was the excellent service at the breakfast in the attached bar/restaurant. Really friendly and helpful staff overall. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Zurich.

The key positives are: the hotel's charming building with character, it's staff who are genuinely kind and attentive. Very comfortable bed (brand Hästens). The hotel's location is also fantastic. You are at an 8mins walking distance to Zurich Main station and there's literally an S-bahn station at the hotel's door step. You are also in convenient walking distance to everything central in Zurich and you have a fantasticly clean 50m public swimming pool (Hallenbad) about 3mins by foot from the hotel. Internal sounds at the hotel are however a major problem. You will hear everything in neighbouring rooms, hallways etc. External sounds like trams will both be heard and felt. Stomping guest will wake you up even if sleeping with earplugs as your room will shiver. I was originally given a room facing the street but after complaining and pointing out that rooms are sold as "soundproofed" on hotels.com, i was given a smaller (but cosy) room at the riverside of the hotel. No difference in sound except you feel the trams less. I'm not sure about the rooms interior design and it was a little bit dented but at an acceptable level. Cleanliness was good but not spotless to deserve 5/5. Again: the hotel's location, the charming building, the very nice staff and the pricing point would make me consider staying again. Regarding breakfast. It's delux-continental (ie. Incl made to order egg + cold cuts). Great quality and pricing at CHF 25 is reasonable for this and for Zurich.

Location is literally perfect, room was second floor with zero noise from streets, spotless and absolutely luxurious. The vip access included a bottle of prosecco and the lobby staff was incredibly nice. During this trip i visited 4 countries in EU and this hotel was hands down the best. I will be going back.

The hotel staff are second to none. They bent over backwards during our stay, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The room was clean and quiet even though street facing. The amenities were great. Will definitely stay here next time we are in Zurich

Budget stay in Zurich

Room was clean and view was good. Tiny space! Shower water temp fluctuating between scalding and freezing the whole time. No real AC, just a room unit requiring you to leave the windows open. Pillows were tiny too. Shower wouldn’t drain. All in all it was clean and safe with good wifi and a convenient location. Glad it was only one night.

We loved our stay. Our room was one of the 5th floor apartment style rooms which was unique and let us spread out a bit. The kitchenette was welcome. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the decor. Safe convenient area. Easy walk to the main train station and a large Coop.
