This is the only hotel in Europe I've ever stayed in that didn't offer free breakfast with your stay. And, their breakfast was very expensive. We did not eat there. They told us when we checked in that there's always coffee avaliable at the table near the front desk, but there was no coffee either morning. We liked the location very much.

The hotel is old so it has some oddities. The rooms are large and clean but they still use physical keys. The elevator is about 3' x 4' and you can't get 2 people with 2 large suitcases in it. On the plus side however, the rate is reasonable and the location is outstanding. You are close to the central train station and there are trams right outside the hotel but we didn't even need to use one. Almost all of the sights in Old Town are an easy walk so it is a good choice if you are just visiting for a few days and would rather spend time exploring than riding on trams. There are tons of good restaurants just a short walk We were there for 3 nights and saw 4 Christmas markets (including the signing Christmas Tree) and all were within easy walking distance. Less than $30 Uber ride to the Airport.
