Great place to stay in Zurich

Lovely quaint hotel in the heart of the old town. Easy to walk around the city from here, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I even left something in my room when I left and they called me and asked me if I’d like them to keep it for me. It was minor, but a very professional touch. Overall, would highly recommend

Hotel Kindli is a wonderful combination of fascinating history (built in15th century) and upscale modernity. It is located in the middle of Zurich's Old Town, within short walking distance of the famous Bahnhofstrasse and elegant boutiques. It has 20 rooms and six business apartments, which are individually designed to convey a simple elegance and warmth. The comfort of my room provided a good night’s rest, which was coupled with an exceptional breakfast to start my day of travel. I was particularly impressed with the staff. They were warm, friendly and helpful day and night. I want to especially thank Ramona, Mike, Roman, and Alex who were superb front desk clerks. They were very helpful and insightful in answering my questions. I also want to thank Amadea (Latin-"Beloved of God") for her sparkling personality. She made breakfast a delight every morning. Her positive attitude and infectious joy was an excellent start for the seven days I was there. I would wholeheartedly commend Hotel Kindli to anyone planning to stay in Zurich. I also want to commend the proprietress, Gisela Lacher for a job well done. She has given this historic landmark a special touch that will long be remembered after its guests have headed home. Not easy to get to but once there we had a lovely stay. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Coffee, water and pastries are always available. If I had one complaint, the room temperature was too hot and we could not control the settings, however we managed by opening a window! We would definitely stay here again!
