Not fancy, but clean, comfortable, and convenient

This hotel is in a university neighborhood that's about a 5-minute walk from the main train station and about a 10 minute walk from the Old Town. The hotel itself is not fancy, and the rooms are small. But our rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, the rate was affordable, and the location was very convenient..

The hotel manager, Martin and his staff were extremely helpful in providing guidance on navigating central station as well as providing dining suggestions. The hotel is located on a quite street that is safe and convenient to central station. If I return to Zurich, I will try to book a room in this hotel again.

The property was very comfortable to stay at for two nights. It was within walking distance of the train station which I used to go to and from the airport and the bus station from which an excursion was begun. Also, some good dining was close by the hotel.

It is a good location for accessing the main area of Zurich. My room was a bit noisy at night with street traffic but the second night I closed the window & put the A/C on & that made a huge difference. The staff were all very nice. The room, although small, was nice & clean.

Great Room, Strong Scent

Really liked the location and the room itself! And the staff was super friendly. And they have a luggage scale, which was super helpful. My only gripe was there was such a strong perfume/cologne scent in the hotel and room itself. I’m just not a fan of strong scents as they can trigger migraines. By the end of the day it wasn’t so strong but still noticeable.

The room was adequate and had a bonus balcony. However the area is noisy due to loud music in the night. Road works were also very near the hotel that time. The room was spacious however the location of the beds were not very good as the head part was next to the toilet door. The shower had a low pressure and the sink make a gurgling sound as it flows down. The kettle was a pleasant amenity. The tram was very near and the hotel is very walkable to the main areas of attraction. The staff were very friendly, smiley and accommodating. Breakfast was very good.
