I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Zermatt. Thor helped me with my trail planning, the food was delicious. It was charming and perfect. Nobody is more careful about hotels than I am, and I am incredibly satisfied with my decision to stay there. Beds comfy. Very quiet. Great location. I have absolutely enjoyed my stay there.

Hotel Romantica is a gem! It's so cozy and charming!! The blooming front garden is well attended with love and care; room is clean and functional with great amenities; the view from the balcony is awesome; breakfast is excellent... It is not only quiet but conveniently located, only a minute's walk down to the main street with tons of restaurants and shops. The couple owners are welcoming and friendly, introduced us to various fantastic hikes and places to see, and provided us with free hotel shuttle to the train station. I highly recommend Hotel Romantica and will certainly go back next time in Zermatt!

Michelle and Thor went above and beyond to make my stay thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. From planning my itinerary every day to lending me walking poles, they made sure every need was attended to with warmth and care. They were the best hosts I’ve ever had and I’d love to return to Zermatt to stay in their beautiful place! What a treat to have three full days with them! Thank you so very much!!! P.s. Also, the location is fantastic and has everything - restaurants, shops, the train station, museum, and hikes - within walking distance. Their breakfast was delicious too! I can’t recommend their property enough.

The hospitality was outstanding. Everything about our stay was just as advertised. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and breakfast was delicious!
