The pool area was great, saunas were brilliant. Our room was not so great. Smelly and we had bugs in our room. We were scared to open the window. It was boiling hot. We didn't sleep too well. The food was great.

First of all the hotel is not perfect. But, in last 9 years we have been there roughly 10-11 times. So, we like it. It's compact, quiet and comfortable for a vacation with children. City of Zalakaros is small and very nice place in a beautiful nature. They are organizing many programs during the whole year, to feel you better and enjoy your holiday there. You will find activities in the surrounding by walk or by bike. Balaton is just a short trip by car.

Surely not a 4 star hotel, not even 3...

This hotel is supposed to be one of the top notch hotels in Zalakaros, besides Radisson Park Inn, yet it's very far from that level. Staff was neutral when we checked-in, we didn't feel that we were welcome at all, we didn't even get a single smile from any of the staff members during our stay, they barely even wanted to greet us back. The food was very disappointing, I can say terrible. We've stayed countless times at wellness hotels in Hungary in thermal towns, yet had never encountered such unfriendly - not rude, just totally careless - staff, so bad, tasteless food with such few choices, at every other hotels there were at least 4-5 main courses which of at least some were for sure to everyone's likeing. Meanwhile here they obviously used reminder food from breakfast (such as ham, bacon), etc. Breakfast was equally super limited and disappointing. They should have a egg-station, where warm egg dishes are frwshly made. There were two new super high tech robots (a server at the bar, and another at the lobby, both out of order, so we couldn't even find out the purpose/ function of the latter one). Cleanliness was spotless, besides that there was nothing special in the room, SPA was absolutely great. But that's it about the good points. There was no any amenities in our room, when we asked for a shower cap at the reception, the receptionist simply replied they didn't have any, no further words, such as "we are so sorry Sir, we just ran out" or anything like that.

Poolområdet helt fantastiskt, och jättetrevlig personal vid poolbaren. Dålig service i lobbyn, städningen var bara bäddning och tömma papperskorgen. Ganska slitna rum. På hemsidan lovar de transfer till busshållplatsen men inget de kunde ordna sa de. Men bra pris och poolområdet gör det ändå prisvärt.

A szálloda minőségi kialakítása megfelel a 4*-nak, az étteremben kifejezetten jók voltak az ételek, az itt lévő személyzet is kedves volt. Sajnos ugyanez a többi alkalmazottra már nem volt elmondható. Udvariatlan, frusztrált, sőt még kioktató stílusban beszélő személyzettel is akadt dolgunk. Kifejezetten kellemetlen tapasztalat volt, hogy a wellnes részen bizonyára egy gépészeti hiba miatt hidegek voltak a medencék, ugyanakkor 24 óra elteltével sem sikerült kijavítani a hibát, másnap ugyanolyan hideg volt a víz. Ráadásul a szobában sem volt megfelelően meleg a víz. A franciaágy kényelmes, viszont a kihúzható kanapé túl kemény. A személyzet vagy fiatal és tapasztalatlan, vagy frusztrált. Sajnos kifejezetten érezhető volt a vezető hiánya, aki kezelni tudta volna a jogos vendégpanaszokat.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal im Karos Spa. Wir habe uns so weit wohl gefühlt. Essen war Spitze. Der Wellness Bereich sehr schön. Natürlich gibt es Abstriche in der Sauber keit. Unser Zimmer (Badezimmer)431 wurde in 9 Tagen 7mal nicht geputzt. Dusche (altes Duschbecken Schimmel) lief ganz schlecht ab wir standen im Wasser. Trotz Meldung wurde nichts gemacht.

Összességében elégedett vagyok a szolgáltatással,némi kívánni való azért akad. Például a vacsora ideje alatt a víz csak rendelésre,jó pénzért akad!Egy ilyen kaliberű szállodánál ez ingyen van! Visszatérve a vízhez,a szobában lévő minibárból elfogyasztottunk 2 üveggel,ami ki chekkolásnál már 6 üveg lett a számlán! Úgy gondolom,hogy egy jobb managmentre van szükségük,tisztelettel.

Ich war mit meiner Familie dort zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber das Personal in Service und Rezeption sehr freundlich außer im Badebereich (Bademeister) unfreundlich und hämisch nur freundlich zu Ungarische Leuten! Die Massage war Top Deto das Essen. Preis-Leistung war Top. Einfach ein toller Urlaub komme sicher wieder.

Für den Preis pro Nacht sollte mehr drin sein

Die Anlage ist sehr groß und ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Besonders im Bad des Hotelzimmers konnte man das gut sehen. Einige Silikonfugen waren weg und haben sich bereits braun verfärbt. Die Seifenspender sehen zwar nett aus, aber sie werden nie abgenommen und entsprechend sieht es dann auch aus. Das Buffet war Okay aber nachdem ich kein wirklicher Frühstücker bin kann ich das nicht bewerten. Am Abend habe ich immer Ausserhaus gegessen und kann deshalb auch keine Bewertung abgeben. Alles in Allem - Für den Preis pro Nacht sollte mehr drin sein. Was mich wirklich ärgert ist, dass man trotz der hohen Preis dann auch für Parken und das wechseln der Handtücher extra bezahlen muss.

Grundsätzlich ein solides gutes Hotel wo Preis/Leistung stimmt. Das Personal ist zum Teil eher nicht so amüsiert wenn man aus einem fremden Land kommt. Hierbei möchte ich aber erwähnen, dass es auch einige gibt die da sehr positiv herausragen. Zur Ausstattung kann man nichts sagen, es ist dem Preis angepasst gut, Verpflegung könnte ein wenig vielseitiger sein, in erster Linie das Salatbuffet. Aber wie bei allem anderen is das eher jammern auf höherem Niveau.
