Just 350m from Villa Koukla lies Kaminia Beach, a quiet and scenic stretch of sand. Nearby, the traditional village of Agios Sostis sits between Laganas and Keri, framed by mountains and fronted by a pretty beach. From here, you can hire a boat across to Marathonisi, or ‘Turtle Island’, famous for its wildlife and crystal waters.Limni Keri harbour, only a 10-minute drive away, is another charming village. Nestled at the edge of Marathia Cape, it offers a small pebble beach shaded by pine trees and lined with tavernas. It is also an excellent starting point for exploring sea caves and beaches, while the mountain village of Keri, with its narrow streets and historic houses, feels timeless and serene.For contrast, lively Laganas is within easy reach, known for its nightlife and long, turtle-protected sandy beach stretching to family-friendly Kalamaki, which offers a more relaxed vibe, warm shallow seas, and even a small waterpark.
