The staff did a great job. However, the chairs when you check in are ridiculous. They’re like 100 years old. They need to put something else in there. Also, for the quality of hotel this is you would expect hot water in the bathrooms. It was very difficult to get hot water or lukewarm.

Superior room was truly superior. The place is spotless and the amenities are truly fitting for a luxury hotel. But those physical aspects pale in comparison to the incredible staff. They go out of their way to help with EVERYTHING! I can seriously say I’ve never had better service than all aspects of the Esplanade.

O Hotel Esplanade Zagreb apresenta excelente estrutura, instalações de alto nível e localização privilegiada, condizentes com seu prestígio histórico. We needed two rooms as we are a family of 5. They gave us connecting rooms, it was a great setup. Unlike most hotels the rooms were different, each with its own character. Breakfast was very good. Location as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this hotel, great location. We had a large wonderful room overlooking the fountain with a very comfy bed. The room was serviced every day and the staff were all very helpful. We went for the advent festivities and it didn't disappoint. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on this. If we had any negatives at all it would be the hairdryer in the drawer which was very difficult to use
