Quirky Yuma Guesthouse

Our guest house may be a little quirky, with a unique layout and features, but it is a comfortable place to stay and play and has all of the great features for a quick pit stop in Yuma (just 1.5 miles off Interstate 8) or for a longer stay for leisure or Mexico medical/dental trips. We've been investing in the home to make it even better … and we're not done just yet. We're reasonably close to Algadones, the Imperial Dunes, and everything Yuma has to offer!

This house shares an approximately one-acre lot with our family home. Both houses have been used for multiple purposes including a period of time when they were used as an assisted living center (with the guest house as offices). The guest house can feel spacious, but has an unusual floor plan that makes it a bit quirky but comfortable. You'll enjoy that this is a completely separate house that affords a lot of privacy during your stay.

The kitchen is small yet functional with a range and microwave (no dishwasher), the family room is spacious and has seating for 6-7 guests. The Master Suite has an attached bathroom which also leads to a utility room that is somewhat large. The second bedroom is comfortable with two twin-xl beds (these can become a single King bed if desired). There is a room between the master suite and the second bedroom that has a desk and chair for working. There is a second bathroom in the common area of the house.

Please note that parking and driveways are dirt. We have a large solar array which can provide covered parking, and/or convenient parking next to the unit is available. We also can accommodate RV/boat parking if needed (Ask for details).

You'll have access to the entire guest house, patio, and there is an available fire pit in the common area near the home.

If travelling to Los Algadones, Mexico, the approximate distance is 25 miles. If San Luis Colorado, the approximate distance is 40 miles. Both of these estimates are primarily freeway/highway drives making them pretty easy from our Quirky Guest Home. We are also less than 8.5 miles from Arizona Western College main campus.

Please note that because we are always upgrading, improving, and changing things around the house, that the pictures may not perfectly match what you find when you get here. We replace photos as often as possible to keep our listing accurate.
