Our room had a very nice view of the lake. The hotel is in a quite area and we did not mind the 10 minute walk to get to the pier, shops and restaurants. The mattreses are very firm. Wall unit AC worked well. The shower head holder was broken but fixed quickly after we reported it. The room is very clean with fresh linen and towels. But there were spiderwebs in the balcony. Breakfast is adequate with mostly traditional Taiwanese breakfast items. Dining room also provides nice view of the lake with outside seatings available. The bulidings are old. But that is why you can get all the amenities and services without paying premiums.

Run-down with better options nearby

Stayed one night and booked a standard twin room with free breakfast & parking included. Great location to Sun Moon Lake and proximity to Shushie Pier/Town. The hotel has three buildings as part of the complex and here in lies the problem! Check-in was in the front main building; modern & clean. We were allocated to the rear property "Bai-Ru" which is closest to the lake admittedly but completely run-down! Worn carpets, pen marks on walls, non-existent facilities. The room was average/small with balcony and offered partial lake view. Parking was easy in the hotel and breakfast was in an adjoining building to the Bai-Ru building in the lower ground floor with predominant Chinese breakfast items with toast and cereal as Western options. Would not be booking again unless completely renovated or allocated to the main front building!

Hotel by the lake

To be honest, the only good thing about the hostel was the view. It was situated right at the lakeside and watching the sunset from the room was beautiful. The entire building and rooms are old and dated and in desperate need of refurbishment. There is a lingering stale smell around the premises and also from the toilet. If u don't mind some discomfort for great views then this might be the place for you. Oh and the hotel is situated on top of a hill so if you are arriving by bus, you will need to pull your luggage up for about 10-15 mins.

因為房間的品質，不會有第二次的入住了。原因入住時5F，因為浴室的蓮蓬頭很誇張的"漏切切"，好心幫我們換了一個蓮蓬頭不那麼"漏切切"的水壓小的號稱湖景房3F。透過層層疊疊的樹縫可以瞄到一點點的潭邊的湖景房。我說不需要湖景房但要品質好一點的浴室，服務回說水電都休息了，也只剩這一間了。所以對這間會館印象超差的，而且早餐也沒有傳說中的好。
