While the location, ambience and overall cleanliness was decent, the communication when issues arose as well as accuracy of listing was not. Owner did not respond to multiple attempts of contact when the outside shower and soaker tub water would not turn on despite following instructions. The listing also said 3 bedrooms, which there was only 2. When entering property for first time owner did respond with gate info when I reached out when we arrived, but there was no communication ahead of time which I am used to from most owners at least a few hours before check in. We followed all instructions with trash, dishes, fridge and turning things off when we left. I received a complaining text of “how disappointing we left the house” but with no detail. I apologized if we left some dirty towels on the floor. Sorry, but that isn’t that what a cleaning service is for anyway? I have never received a complaint or negative review from an owner before and have been doing VRBO for years.
