THE SPACE
Nightfall is designed for larger groups who want plenty of room to gather without sacrificing comfort. The home features seven bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, while the remaining six bedrooms each feature a queen-size bed. Two full-size sofa beds in the living room provide additional sleeping space. At the center of the home, a large kitchen with a generous island and fully stocked appliances makes group meals easy, while the living area offers a 65-inch Smart TV and electric fireplace for relaxed evenings indoors. Outside, the large backyard turns the property into its own desert playground, with a private pool and spa, full-size pickleball court, bocce ball court, built-in fire pit, BBQ grill, lounge seating, and outdoor dining.

OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE
Nightfall's backyard is built for spending the day outside. Cool off in the private pool, relax in the spa, play pickleball or bocce, fire up the BBQ, or gather around the built-in fire pit as the desert cools down. With lounge chairs, covered patio space, and outdoor dining, there are multiple ways for your group to enjoy the property from morning through night.
GOOD TO KNOW
BBQ GRILL
Our BBQ grill runs on propane gas, which we provide, so there’s no need to bring your own.
POOL HEATING
Pool heating is available with at least one day's notice and can reach up to 85°F. The fee is $180/day from May through October and $250/day from November through April.
SPA
Spa use is included at no additional charge.
PETS
Up to two dogs are welcome with a $100 fee per pet, per stay. All pets must be disclosed before arrival.
POOL SERVICE
Routine pool service takes place Mondays and Thursdays, approximately between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Our technician accesses the outdoor area only and does not need to enter the home.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
We want every guest to enjoy Nightfall safely while helping us keep the home in great condition. Please review the following before booking.
PARTIES, EVENTS & EXTRA GUESTS
Parties and events are not permitted. Please contact us in advance regarding any visitors or additional overnight guests. Approved extra overnight guests are $50 per person, per night.
POOL & SPA SAFETY
Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times while using or being near the pool and spa. No diving or glass is permitted in the pool area. Please use the pool and spa responsibly and at your own risk.
PETS & POOL
Pets are not permitted in the pool or spa. Guests are responsible for their pets at all times, including any damage or additional cleaning caused during the stay. Please also be mindful of cactus, desert plants, and wildlife when pets are outdoors.
DESERT WILDLIFE
Nightfall is located in a natural desert environment. Insects, rodents, snakes, spiders, and other wildlife may occasionally be encountered. Please keep doors closed when possible and remain aware of your surroundings. Encounters with wildlife or insects that are part of the natural desert environment are not grounds for a refund.
PLUMBING & SEPTIC SYSTEM
Like many Joshua Tree homes, Nightfall uses a septic system. Only toilet paper may be flushed. Improper use resulting in clogged or damaged plumbing may result in a $200 repair fee.
NO SMOKING
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside the property or within 15 feet of exterior doors. Failure to follow this policy may result in a $100 additional cleaning fee.
SECURITY CAMERAS
In accordance with insurance company requirements, four exterior security cameras monitor the front and rear entrance areas for guest and property safety. All security cameras are located outside the property. There are no cameras inside the home. Cameras may not be tampered with, covered, or disabled during your stay.
PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE
Personal photos and videos are welcome, and you're welcome to tag @visithideaway. Professional, promotional, commercial, or revenue-generating photography and filming require prior approval and may be subject to production fees. Unauthorized commercial shoots may result in a $5,000 violation fee plus applicable production fees of up to $575/hour. If you're unsure whether your shoot qualifies as commercial use, please contact us before booking.
LATE CHECK-OUT
Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guests who remain at the property after 11:05 AM will be charged a $75 late check-out fee for every 30 minutes past the check-out time.
DAMAGES
Accidents happen. If anything is damaged, broken, or seriously stained during your stay, please let us know as soon as possible so our team can assist. Guests are responsible for damage resulting from misuse or failure to follow property guidelines.
Guest Access:
You'll have private access to the home and its guest amenities during your stay. The property uses a Yale smart lock, and your access code will be provided before arrival.
The Neighborhood:
Nightfall is located in Joshua Tree, giving you easy access to the area's desert landscapes, local restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and Joshua Tree National Park. After a day exploring, return to a private property with enough space and amenities to make staying home part of the experience.
Getting Around:
A car is recommended for getting around the area.
