The Space:

Desert Remedy is a hexagon-shaped house on a cul-de-sac in Yucca Valley, surrounded by boulders with panoramic views. The heart of the property is a 1,000 sq ft deck built into the rocks, with a container pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit and lounge chairs, and a pickleball court sits among the boulders nearby. Inside, a fireplace and earthy design make the living room an easy place to settle in, and five bedrooms, two kings and three queens, share three bathrooms. It suits larger groups who want plenty to do without leaving the property. Dinner on the second-floor patio is the house special.

-Outdoor Amenities-

Most of the action happens on the 1,000 sq ft deck built into the boulders, where the container pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit and lounge chairs sit together. A pickleball court surrounded by boulders is ready for a game. Upstairs, the second-floor patio has a BBQ grill and a dining table overlooking the views, and the covered porch has a swinging daybed for an afternoon nap.



-Living Area-

The living room has a fireplace and earthy design elements that make it easy to relax. There is no TV in the living room, which keeps it a place for conversation and games.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The fully stocked kitchen is set up for group meals. Carry dinner upstairs to the second-floor patio, where the BBQ grill and dining table overlook the views.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Desert Remedy has five bedrooms with two king beds and three queen beds, and three bathrooms. Smart TVs with Netflix and Hulu are in the upstairs primary bedroom, the downstairs primary bedroom and the bedroom with the extra bed.



-Surrounding Area-

From Desert Remedy, the day can go to La Copine, Joshua Tree Village, Pappy and Harriet's in Pioneertown or the Integratron, or into Joshua Tree National Park for a day of hiking and scenic drives.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that there are a few supply closets that are locked that house supplies for the rental.

Other Things to Note:

-Container Pool-

The pool at Desert Remedy is a container pool set into the boulder deck.



-TVs-

There is no TV in the living room. The upstairs primary bedroom, the downstairs primary bedroom and the bedroom with the extra bed each have a TV, and there are no other TVs in the house.



-House-Specific Rules-

► Any unauthorized late check-out beyond the 15-minute grace period will incur a $100 fee for the first hour, with an additional $100 charged for every hour thereafter.

► Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No external speakers allowed.

► Any locked closet, room or storage area on the property is reserved for rental supplies and is off limits to guests. Guests may be held responsible for damage or missing items if a locked area is entered.

► Please avoid using the hot tub immediately after it has been serviced, as chemical levels are higher than usual for a short time. Please rinse off oils and lotions before entering, keep the cover on when not in use, and no drinking in the hot tub, please.



-Pool Heating-

Pool heating is currently unavailable until further notice. The hot tub and sauna are available year-round.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

The pool and hot tub are serviced Tuesdays and Fridays, approximately between 9am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.



-Security Camera-

For your security, there are exterior cameras on the property, which monitor vehicles and occupancy. There are no cameras inside the home or facing any private areas, including the pool and hot tub areas.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage in the area may be limited or unavailable depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi is available at the property.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
