Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. The staff was really kind and helpful, specifically one gentleman who helped us with the thermostat. The breakfast was nice for fueling up, it is just a small little room with some eggs, hash-browns and pancakes. They had several toast options, cereal, packets of oatmeal, I wish they had real fruit options instead of fruit cocktail (i might have missed it). But they also have coffee, OJ, Milk, tea, hot cocoa. The location was perfect. Of course it’s a cabin like B&B so you can hear every single step from anyone above, they’re nice enough to give you ear plugs, but nothing the TV can’t help. Subscriptions are on the TV which is lovely. Didn’t book a room with a crazy view or anything but you step outside and boom… perfect view.

The room was clean however the internet connection was very poor. The major issue however was that the TV wouldn’t connect to the internet or anything so we spent the night on our lagging devices. I had planned for my kids and I to watch a Christmas movie on the tv by the fire place and this ruined the night. I called the front desk and the gentleman that answered said he thinks the room we were staying at is old and has not internet connection but that he would come after finishing his dinner. We waited about 40 mins and he didn’t seem to be coming and my kid were getting hungry so we needed up going to pick up some food came back in 30 mins but I never received a call or anything showing that someone came to help. Very disappointing.

Very cute and quaint! I’d like to give 4.5, but it’s not an option. I love the retro appliances and LOVE. the in room Franklin stove. Our door deadbolt wouldn’t lock, and the TV kept losing signal (like every couple of minutes). I think check in should be 3:00, like most places. Regardless, it was comfortable, good location, and I’d stay again.

The check in gal did not like her job or me. Fridge did not work in the room and the jacuzzi was out of order. Gave us a parking pass but there were no spots. She said we can park in the handy cap parking but we opted to park at the business across the street in fear of a ticket.
