This is a lovely property right on the beach. The room was clean and very comfortable. Our balcony overlooked the beach. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this property for a stay at the beach.

The room was clean. Ocean side view was a stretch. Construction directly in front of the hotel while we were there. Need to walk rather far to get to walking beach. Nice pool. Ocean front rooms look nice. Loved the lobster gummy candies upon check in.

The only thing I did not like was we needed things for our room like clean towels and we had to go to the office several times to ask for them. But everyone there were most helpful and very very friendly absolutely the best staff ever 😁

The view is amazing! The cleanliness is excellent. However, they pale in comparison to the staff....EVERYONE was extremely friendly, eager to help, and went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable stay. We are already planning a return trip!

They don't offer toiletries. It was clean but dusty. Overlal it work if you don't need much and are staying for a day or two. But nothing special. I will say that the w front desk staff that I checked in and out with were extremely pleasant and nice!

The rooms are new and quite comfortable but no chairs to sit in the room - we brought one in from the patio since we were just staying one night. Slight water view but some road barriers across the street in front of hotel. I found the extra parking/pool charge a bit much - especially considering the high price of the room- over $350! Most expensive room we had on the 10 days on the coast and with less amenities.

Great views. Great walking, running, surfing and general beach location. Place has a pretty cool surf vibe. The heated pool area is really nice. Some of the best sunrises right here too. I didn’t happen to notice if breakfast was offered or made for a fee, most of the time the office building didn’t open until later in the morning so it there is a breakfast, its a late one. overall, awesome place

Our room was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor pool. The waitress we had for breakfast was friendly and kind. There was no shampoo in the room, but we asked and were given a bottle. We had also forgotten our toothpaste. Housekeeping brought us two small tubes. Thank you!!! It was wonderful to be able to sit on the front deck and watch the ocean.

The bar outside still closed from last years stay as it was this past weekend :( There was no hair blower in our room 109 but there was one in my sons room, 310. The breakfast area was nice and coffee too. Friendly reception and good welcoming from the desk employees. The place needs more parking area for people coming back from a later diner time around 8:30 pm.

My wife and I decided to do a weekend getaway for our anniversary to York Beach. After reviewing the options for hotels, we choose the Ocean Surf, and were not disappointed. This place was recently renovated, and the rooms were very modern and clean. Additionally, the redone pool area provided two pools depending on if you wanted a quiet side or the kid-friendly one. We had breakfast in their little cafe in the lobby, and it was the best avocado toast I have ever had. Lastly, we did have an issue with our room TV, which they were unable to repair, or move us to another room due to full capacity, so the wonderful staff and management provided us compensation for the inconvenience. I highly recommend Ocean Surf if you’re heading to YB for a romantic getaway, or with the family.
