Ok stay

Although the bed was comfortable and the linens clean, the carpet had a musty smell and seemed better days. The lobby was updated and clean. Everyone I encountered was friendly. Unfortunately, I could hear someone constantly walking around the room above which kept me awake. Also, there were no extra blankets for the beds.

Staff was extremely polite,helpful and expediant,altho no early checkin. Front room door needed paint and bathroom door missing hook and blankets had to be requested. Great location to lighthouse ,long and short sands beach,downtown york beach ,hwys access...tv too small as well and no timer on remote. Free coffee altho needs flavored ones. Not sure but should offer beach parking,at least validation. Would stay again.

Get new mattresses

The atmosphere was nice, room was what we expected. The bed in room 11 was the worst mattress we have ever slept on. After following up with previous reviews, it looks to be an issue that we wish we had seen prior to booking as we didnt sleep at all.

Good location/fair amenities

The location was good for walking to Long Sands beach and driving to everywhere else. The room we stayed in (25) was ground level and very noisy ; other guests socializing outside our window until 11pm, children yelling in the pool from early morning and no quiet hours since lobby was only open for limited hours. The room and furniture was dated and actually had 2 broken chairs that we asked they remove upon checkin. Multiple lightbulbs were missing and not replaced. Mattress was very thin/uncomfortable, although multiple pillows were provided. Towels were replaced daily in the lobby however, room cleaning service needed to be requested before 3 pm for the next day. Staff was cordial. Free coffee/tea was available in the lobby during daytime hours.

Quiet location in a beautiful neighborhood. 5 minute walk to the beach. Room was on the 3rd floor but ocean view and decks made up for it. Bed could use a new mattress. Room clean and attractive. I just wish I knew in advance that the room was on the 3rd floor (no elevator). I will stay there again but on a lower level.
