What a lovely place ☺️ We only stayed for one night as we came up from Chester to pick up a boxer puppy early on the Saturday,if we’d have known how lovely it was,we would have stayed an extra night,the staff and rooms are lovely (although our room did smell quite musty and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom on the shower and bottom of the bath) we had a meal there on the Friday evening when we arrived,it was so busy with Christmas party’s but the staff were so happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us,no matter how busy they were,it was like they were only serving us,the food was lovely and the decor of the bar and restaurant are stunning,it’s such a shame that we live so far away,if we didn’t I would most definitely stay here again,I 100% recommend you stay here xx

Really great place to stay. We stayed in room located in what we think was the original stable yard. The room was immaculate and perfectly Set out. The bar/ restaurant was a great place to hang out with friendly staff and great food. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a small slice of beautiful Yorkshire on your travels.

Little gem in North Yorkshire

Comfortable and convenient for North Yorkshire exploring. Bedroom modern although bathroom needs a bit of a refresh. Highlight was dinner. Super quality food and reasonably priced. Decent wine list. A little gem.

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who check us in, showed us to our room and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean, we ate evening meals in the restaurant on two night, the menu had plenty of choice, the staff were all very good with nothing being too much trouble, not only was the service very efficient the staff made you feel welcome. We also ate in the restaurant for three breakfasts and the service, food quality, staff friendliness and efficiency was excellent. Throughout the day the hotel was busy and welcoming, but they always had enough staff to cater for the demand.

A splendid hotel, very comfortable and made extremely welcome. The room was fantastic and the shower very good. Although we already had plans for our evening meal elsewhere, we did have a lovely breakfast 😋

Excellent

Although I arrived late in the evening I had a warm welcome and check in. Great Yorkshire hospitality at its best, My room was very spacious for the night, a fantastic breakfast cooked to order the following morning. All the staff were both professional and courteous in their duties. A refreshing change from the usual chain hotels or city hotels. Highly recommend this place, and Easingwold is a beautiful small town.
