Loved that it was right on the beach. There is a smell that surrounds the outside of the building, we believe it comes from the outside drains. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable. There is 2 side windows in between are large picture window that can be opened to let in the wonderful sound of the ocean. The views from windows is fantastic. In my opinion it is the best place to stay on long sands beach in york . All of the other places are across the street from the beach. The staff was wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Prefect location to the lighthouse, restaurants and shops.

Absolute Gem! The oceanfront view from bed is amazing!!! The tides, the stars at night and the colors of the morning sunrise sky! Felt newly remodeled, clean and spacious! We stayed in the end unit lower building #21 second floor- perfection! Walkable to the lighthouse and many restaurants. Be sure to get coffee at the General Store opens 6:30 am!

Perfect Stay!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Cutty Sark! The rooms were large and very clean. Waking up to the ocean view is absolutely amazing. I would consider this a prime location. You get the relaxed vibes of Long Sands, while being a short 10-15 minute walk from Short Sands and the hustle and bustle of that area! The staff were super friendly and helpful. This will be our go to stay for future trips!

We absolutely loved the motel. Very quaint with a beautiful view. The staff were so friendly. My only complaint would be that we couldn't enjoy sitting outside on the property because of a sewer type smell. It was not pleasant
