The hotel was lovely, clean and inviting. Only downside was the air conditioning in the room was really loud so had interrupted sleep. Plus when checking out there was no one at reception for a good 10 minutes, there was a queue of people by the time someone actually turned up which I thought was unprofessional. We actually spent most of our x2 days in a hospital so did not really get a chance to see York. There were a few situations where the staff were excellent, like producing an ice pack with the vacuum machine (on x2 occasions) and helping us with food late at night, a great room and great service
