The hotel was very comfortable and in a convenient part of the city, within a short walk to the centre. Shops and bars nearby. We managed to park nearby. Bear in mind that the bar closes at 11:00 pm so if you are looking for a late evening drink, make sure you order early.

The location, just a short walk to central York and the Barbican Theatre. Inside the hotel reception area had plenty of seating and a nice relaxed atmosphere. My room was comfortable and also had a lovely walk-in shower.
