The room was lovely, and our stay massively exceeded our expectations including an evening dip in the hot tub and then using the hotel bar for games. The staff made everything that much more special for my girlfriend (now fiancé) birthday and for our engagement during our stay too to put the extra special touches in. We will definitely be returning to stay again!

Staff were busy and distracted, bathroom extractor was noisy and broken no issues as this happens, room i had this time was tired and not as warm as i would have liked ( it was cold that night though) went to use the gym but couldnt because the gym is obviously subtracted out and the yoga woman had a private session on which was annoying as no mention of this, i wonder if the hotel know she does this? The main reason i booked here was my last experience was great and the fact it does have a gym. They should state it is limited use and times as i would have stopped somewhere else.

Was the perfect place to stay for a group of 4 all being able to have our own bed in the same room! Room was spacious and clean and the bathroom was lovely. Pillows and beds etc were super comfy. The staff were so accommodating and let us go in the hot tub even though we arrived quite late in the evening. They do turn the temp down though so it was a bit cooler than usual but we still appreciated it! Breakfast was nice and made fresh to everyone’s taste and what they wanted. Was walking distance for us to do all the bits we wanted to in the centre of York. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
