Easy check in, suoer clean. The bed was confy. Does not happen often. Yes, there was an issue with the fan extractor which was annoying but is a minor thing. Will use again soon

All in all, we had a pleasant stay. The property and ground floor twin room was clean and comfortable with all the basic facilities required. It's also a good location within around 15/20 minutes to the city centre and directly across from the hospital. The lady I spoke to on the phone on check in and to gain entry was friendly and helpful. This is mind, our last minute booked stay was very good value for money. My only suggestion to management would be to change the bed in the room above room 2 as the squeakiness which continued on and off for quite a long while in the room above caused some awkwardness and use of headphones for our mum and 12yo daughter stay.

Nice guest house by York hospital about 20 minutes from the tourist attractions like York minister and York dungeons only down side I had was had to phone up to get into room when if they send a email with keypad code the night before or in the morning they wouldn't have a problem and a bit of mold in bathroom on the roof by shower outh then that very nice guesthouse

In short it's overpriced. Too small a room for any furniture at all so everything goes on the floor. The only hanging space is over the kettle ! Shower room is dirty rusty old and held together with silicon. The staircase is steep and narrow and would challenge a mountain climber. Lastly, you are threatened with being thrown out and fined if you have alcohol. Great apart from that . . .
