The room was small but the amenities were with current technology. Love the location of the hotel. It was close to everything. We ate breakfast at Eeny which was just couple minutes walking away from the hotel. The hotel offers Muji buffet breakfast which we opt out

My second time staying here. Really good location and everything within walking distance. Short walk to Kamakura Station. Alot of shops and cafes nearby. Pharmacy, supermarket and konbini right opposite the hotel. Adjacent to the 2nd tori gate that leads to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. Clean room and facilities. The outdoor area outside the lobby is a nice place to enjoy a hot drink.

A block away from the train station and right in the center of town. I got the premium corner room ... very spacious with a separate living area and extra large bathroom. Loved the breakfast buffet in the MUJI restaurant ... a unique hotel worth staying at while in Kamakura.

This was my favorite hotel out of our entire trip. The room was comfortable, I LOVED the pajamas that were provided as well as the complimentary bath and beauty products. The service was SO friendly and attentive. The location was a short walk to one of the most beautiful temples I have ever seen and a variety of shops and places to get wonderful meals and treats. If you love coffee, I highly recommend going to Verve coffee- just a short walk away- to try their Valencia latte or pour overs. Kua’aina burger and the neighboring Hawaiian donut shop were also fantastic. Across the street from the hotel is a nice grocery store where you can try a variety of Japanese products and traditional foods. Kamakura as a destination is absolutely gorgeous and was my favorite destination in our trip. Enoshima is a short trip away and also incredible. Hotel Metropolitan is a perfect location to explore the whole area. Highly recommend!
