This location is great for the Tetons. Places to eat are limited and no Internet or TV in the rooms. Great place to unplug.

We discourage staying here. Please note, you will not be on the lake or have a lake view. Plus no TV to unwind at night. We did this to be in Yellowstone but a stones throw away from Teton. Stay in Jackson Hole instead for a much better experience and price. Another thing you have to consider is you are trapped by 2 food choices at this location. Not tasty either. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
The service at Registration was fantastic. Great help on getting a tire leak repaired late in the day.
We had a 2 bed room. The beds were full size rather than queen, which made 2 normal size adults sleeping in 1 bed uncomfortable. The room was clean, along with the building. Overall it was a good stay, but would opt for 2 room with 1 king size bed next time. 😉
The location was perfect. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful. The man in the gift shop gave us a map he made that really helped us get to all the places we needed to see. On the down side, the bed was not comfortable. The restaurant was understaffed and unless you had a reservation, you had to wait 60-90 minutes for dinner. Hard to call for reservations when there is no phone service and you never really know when you will get back from seeing the sights all day. Have some kind of food with you just in case.
Service at the Lake house for breakfast was absolutely appalling.
Was going to have the full buffet which it said on the menu all you can eat😂 Coffee cold ,offered no orange juice ,no bacon,in fact nothing.
Kept telling staff there was no bacon, french toast,or any other food in the food containers .
Staff just walked around aimlessly.
One member of staff disappeared into the kitchen because we kept asking when are we getting any food.
Finally after 30 mins of waiting we walked out hungry😡
Would be great for a 1 night stay coming up from Tetons. Beds were very uncomfortable. When we checked in we were told there were 3 options for dinner. Dining room needed reservations, lakehouse and the grill. So we went to the lakehouse which only served tacos. The next night we were going to pick up some burgers at the grill that we were told was open til 7. Well that was the night before. Today they closed at 5. Sept 8th. So we had no options for dinner except tacos again. Would definitely stay farther north at some of the other villages. Windows were thin. Thought someone was outside talking, the people upstairs had their windows open. Thought with no tv or WiFi it would be peaceful. It was not. Just ok

Late season I suppose. Short of waiters in the restaurant. Those working were quite good. Signage to the restaurant was inadequate.
Jackson Lake Lodge was an entirely different experience. Keep driving south!
We liked the nature setting. Wildlife wondering about the property was a treat. Easy parking and access to the rooms. Friendly and polite staff. Its a good starting point to travel through Yellowstone.
But, its really not a true lodge. Individual buildings with hotel style hallways with rooms. No actual lodge area to enjoy. Rooms and bathrooms are very small. We found local dining subpar and crowded. Would not spend the money to stay again. Recommend upgrading to one of the other properties in the park.
