Clean room. Renovated. Town left something to be desired. It was the only place I could book as there was an event in Steamboat springs the weekend I was blowing through. Pet traveler be ware….the pet fees are 2-4 times higher than other stays. Call first for pet quote before booking!!!!! I was in sticker shock!!!!

Yampa is an old town and the Travelodge is a refreshing facility. The staff were extremely helpful helpful to me and we really enjoyed having access to a 24 hour diner. Our room was clean, but the TV was difficult to operate.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
The room had not been swept very well and the sink in the bathroom was poorly cleaned. The shower pan needs to be replaced. Upholstered furniture needs attention. We were disappointed with the worn look of the room as we have previously stayed there in other years. The beds were the only good thing and were comfortable. This is a non-smoking establishment but, right next to the hotel they have a gazebo-type building which is used for smoking and you have to walk by it to check in and out at the diner just beyond. There is no breakfast included with this establishment.

The garbage was overflowing and scattered outside after being torn apart by animals. The property appeared understaffed, and belongings from previous occupants, including food and clothing, were still left behind. It seemed the room had not been properly cleaned or inspected before being made available.
