Nomad Cloud Tsunagu - Rustic Vintage House

This house had been abandoned for over 16 years. We found it on the verge of collapsing, and the owner was unable to maintain it due to financial difficulties. So we decided to renovate the house for free and create a source of income for the owner. Built with love using upcycled materials and, of course, a host of new fixtures such as air conditioning, a new toilet, and a new bathroom.

When you first arrive, you might be surprised by the rugged, authentic exterior we’ve chosen to preserve. But step inside and you’ll discover a modern, studio-style space, carefully renovated to today’s standards. Watch out for the low wooden beams, especially if you’re over 170 cm! And be mindful of Amami’s wildlife—snakes are more active at night, so please stay safe!

The outdoor area is still a work in progress, so please use it cautiously and at your own risk. However, the area by the entrance is safe and perfect for a BBQ!
