Lovely boutique hotel centrally located

I absolutely loved staying at NinetyNine Hotel in Wuppertal! It has a cool trendy vibe, appears to be brand new, and is very centrally located, with shops and restaurants just a few steps away. Another bonus: a parking garage just next door. Absolutely perfect.

Clean room, comfortable bed, hot water in the shower. Our room overlooked the back of the hotel to an outdoor patio area of a retirement home and staff members there were loud throughout various hours of the night and early morning, which was annoying when you have to leave the windows open in the hotel room because there is no AC in the room. The hotel does provide a fan, which helps a little. The entire hotel appears and smells recently renovated - it's sparkling clean. Location is very central. Staff friendly. Parking in the vicinity, though you have to pay for it.

People friendly but check in problems - first room key card broken and no replacement - so moved room this time allocated a room with another guest in it (unfortunately more for them they were naked at the time) finally allocated a 3rd room which was successful but this all took 30 minutes

Ein besonderes, leider inzwischen seltenes Detail waren die Leselampen. Wenn es möglich gewesen wäre, das Bad zu heizen, zumal draußen Minusgrade herrschten, hätten wir uns noch wesentlich wohler gefūhlt! Ansonsten sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.
