No hotel sign on property, appears to need maintenance, hot water dor showed was luke warm, faucet pulled away from wall, outside entrance was cluttered. No breakfast area that we could tell, However, the one staff member on site at checkin and checkout was very Nice. And the bar next door was great!

The room needs updating. Fridge door wouldn't stay shut unless you really pushed on it. The lamp trim on back was dusty. Used Kleenex on the window sill. Toilet plugged up easily. One of the light switches didn't turn on any lights just turned off the TV, fridge, and microwave, and I kept using that switch. I hung a bag on it so it would remind me. I guess you get what you pay for. I've stayed in this hotel a lot in the past and it's really gone down hill.

I don't plan my travels so never know if or where I will spend the night. After stopping at a rest stop about 10 miles back to let my dogs out, I realized I had to get some sleep. A quick check led me to Luverne, Minnesota, and this Super 8. I booked it online as I was walking in the door. Check-in was easy. The staff was friendly. The wifi worked for teaching the classes I had to teach. And I couldn't wait to take a bath in a tub because I don't have one at home so always make a point of doing that. My stay was great.
